Welcome to OnitshaOS, the online marketplace for Onitsha and beyond. By accessing or using this platform, you agree to the terms below.

1. The Marketplace

OnitshaOS connects buyers and sellers. We are a listing platform, not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not hold goods, take delivery, or guarantee the authenticity or condition of items advertised.

2. Buying

• Inspect items in person where possible and never pay in advance for goods you have not seen.
• Meet sellers in safe, public locations and verify the product matches its listing.
• A verified badge only means the seller's identity was confirmed by our team; it is not a guarantee of the product.

3. Selling

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into binding agreements.
• Listings go live automatically once published. You are responsible for the accuracy of every detail you provide, including price, condition and photos.
• Prohibited items are not allowed — including counterfeit goods, stolen property, illegal weapons, and services that violate Nigerian law.
• Do not post content you do not own or have the right to use, including photos taken from other sellers or the internet.
• You must deal honestly: no phantom items, bait-and-switch pricing, or impersonation of other vendors.

4. Vendor Verification

Vendors may apply for a verified badge. Approval is at the sole discretion of OnitshaOS and may be granted, delayed or revoked at any time. Applying for verification does not guarantee approval, and we may reject applications without explanation.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login details and verification codes secure. Never share your OTP with anyone — OnitshaOS will never ask you for it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use OnitshaOS to mislead, defraud, harass or harm other users, or to interfere with the normal operation of the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnitshaOS is not liable for any loss arising from transactions between users, or for the accuracy of listings. Deal with other users at your own risk.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
